This course is suitable for:

  • those who are responsible for overseeing fire safety
  • designated fire marshals
  • anyone who needs to know how to use a fire extinguisher.

What you will learn:

The course will present an understanding of fire regulations and general fire precautions. It aims to provide you with the knowledge to be become a fire marshal.
Course content:

  • Action on discovering a fire
  • Common causes of fire
  • Fire drills and evacuation
  • Fire safety legislation
  • Fire safety precautions
  • The chemistry of fire
  • The role of fire marshal
  • Using fire extinguishers

We can cover an additional detailed 30 minutes on the use of Fire Extinguishers if organisation would like to cover this. It does not include the practical use of extinguishers but gives additional information on handling appliances, the different uses of appliances, storage etc. There is a charge of £50.00 for this additional training.

Courses can be booked on request at your establishment if you have more that 6 delegates. The cost of the course is £295.00 for the session, and you can have up to 30 people in attendance. All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance valid for 2 years.
