This one day course is an ideal opportunity to get hands-on experience, training, advice and support on a number of different elements of hydrotherapy pool activities.

The course will involve theoretical elements of hydro play activities combined with practical experience in our very well equipped hydro pool at Hadrian School.

The course is aimed at teachers and teaching assistants in primary and secondary special education, but open to all interested parties.

The course will provide opportunity for fun, games and activities which will extend children’s experience in the water.

The course will include support materials linked to P scales across a topic based curriculum.

As part of the course you will receive a copy of the publication of “Learning Through Aquatics” written by Anne Cradock, the course tutor.

You will require a change of clothing and swim wear as the course will involve pool based activities in the morning and afternoon. Pool participation is not compulsory but would be very beneficial.
