Makaton Levels 1 & 2 Workshop
Although originally designed for children and adults with learning difficulties, it is now also used in helping people with a wide range of communication, speech, language, and literacy difficulties, including helping babies, toddlers, and children whose first language is not English. Makaton is listed by the Communication Trust in its “What Works“ database of evidenced interventions to support children’s speech, language and communication.

A fun, friendly way to learn almost 300 signs and symbols from Stages 1-4 plus Additional Stage of the Makaton Core Vocabulary. Background information and help on putting your signing into practice are included.
Price includes Course Manuals, Handouts, and Makaton Certificates on completion (attendance in full at both days is required).
The course is suitable for parents, families, professionals, and anyone who wants to learn to sign! No signing experience is necessary.
