Full First Aid at Work – Level 3
3 Days (18 hours) – 8.30am – 3.30pm

This comprehensive Level 3 First Aid at Work (F.A.W) course is Ideal for staff intending to act as a First Aider at Work. The course is designed to provide the First Aider with the skills necessary to give effective life support, diagnose and treat injuries or illness, and maintain care and comfort of the casualty.
Our instructors deliver dynamic courses that relate to real life situations. As a result your staff will be able to deal confidently and competently with a wide range of First Aid situations that could arise in your school.
At the end of the course, your staff will have gained a recognised qualification lasting 3 years. Please note that it is HIGHLY recommended by the H.S.E that staff undergo annual update training, this will be detailed on their certificate.
Training must be re-freshed every 3 years which means doing a 2 day re-qualification course.
There is also the option for an additional £55.00 to complete a Paediatric Top up element of the course which means you gain the Paediatric First Aid qualification too. This will involve doing some additional work over the 3 days and also an additional exam.
Note: you will still need to complete a 2 day FAW re-qualification course and then a 2 day Paediatric course after the 3 years so maintain both qualifications, but there will also be the option to attend the 3 day FAW course again with the Paediatric top up, therefore spending 3 days out of school instead of 4
